today was a busy day right from the top. 7:30 am the alarm went off and me and the dog linus went to discover our snowy town. yes, it had snowed the night before and it was all white. and cold. and wet. but still - us finns are trained (growned) to cherish these moments. I believe that this is where we get sisu. but in it's all glory the nature was amazing.
ofcourse when you combine freezing temperatures, good ol' H2O and the finnish roads you get the winter-tire-exchange-operation-2011. for me, it usually means 2 cars to be changed: our own and my moms. it was all cleared by 2am or so.
today lotta came over. it was really nice to see her. she's really a nice girl, at first she was one of lindas friends, but I'd like to think that I'm allowed to call her my friend as well. I'm sure the misses will correct me if I'm wrong.
anyways, she had got this amazing tattoo done, and now the fever rose. I immediately contacted this one guy who does some great ink and I think I'll give myself a perfect birthday present: my first stamp. now the struggle within rises between the two ideas that I've had. all who know me, know that poets of the fall is a very important band in my life and their new logo is a kick-ass, and I would like to give my recognition to them, by imprinting that logo on my back. the other piece is the star of life. the symbol for my field of expertice. so which one is it going to be? the vote is on for two weeks and we'll see the results. the morpho or the star - you choose.
now linda is watching me impatiently to come to bed, because she likes to have someone next to her. she forced me to write this blog entry and it was a good idea because the words seem to come out like nothing. I love her. I'm lucky being able to say that with an honest heart.
